South East Region Dressage Youth Development Scheme

South East Region Dressage are planning an exciting development with the introduction of a Youth Development Scheme.

Applicants will be invited to an assessment day held in Spruce Lodge on June 24th where they will partake in an assessment lesson with two of Ireland's top Dressage trainers, Anne Marie Dunphy and Donie McNamara.

Ten applicants will be chosen to take part in the training scheme which will consist of further training and theory days over the summer and autumn.

Applications should be sent to Monica Dunne, Tifeaghna, Freshford, Co Kilkenny, cheques made out to South East Dressage (no cash in the post please).

  • The scheme is open to riders under 21 who are resident in the South East region.

  • It is not necessary to be a member of Dressage Ireland

  • Talented riders from Eventing, Showjumping, Showing and Pony Club are invited to apply

  • Applicants must show a genuine interest in being involved in dressage

  • An application form and fee of €50 must be received by June 20th
